Death
Death

to me, death is like a motherly figure. when the day of living becomes too heavy and the world has asked for too much, death doesn’t scold or demand an account of what we've done. she simply gathers the frayed edges of our tired soul, draws the blanket of shadow close, and gently sends us into the long, sound sleep

and if I die, I wish people wouldn't have to mourn my absence. I wish they'd forget me by the next morning after I am buried. I hope they won't cling to the memories they have of me. If I die, I want people to forget me by the moment they wake up the day after, I hope they'll run their lives the way they always did, the way they should
