Spongebob is my close personal friend.

I love the early morning. Hours before the sun rises. Hours before life demands anything from you. The smell of the cold air. The potential for productivity. Being up very early in the morning is sometimes my only chance to experience peace. I savour the time I get to relax before the world around me starts moving.

Earlier this year my friend gave me a pack of cigarettes from The Dominican Republic for my birthday. I had quite a few drunk cigs and I enjoyed it, but I don’t want to make a habit out of smoking.

The older I get the more I enjoy wearing pink. I remember being little and thinking pink was ugly and pink was only for girls. Now a lot of my favorite pieces of clothing have pink on them.

I’ve always told myself that I like being alone. I think in some ways it’s true, but I also say that because I feel alone so often. There is safety in solitude, nobody bothering you, knowing you’re not bothering anyone, but I have a lot of love inside me that doesn’t get to go anywhere.

My favorite cut of steak. Perfect cross section between flavor and tenderness. A good thick ribeye seared hard and basted with garlic butter to medium rare is so beautiful.

I love silence. Sharing silence with others. The quiet stillness of the early hours of the morning. Acknowledging others without speaking but without being rude. I like quiet.
