I want to be romantic about this but I really can’t. Every moment I’ve spent suffering from insomnia would be better spent sleeping or awake and well-rested. It’s never quiet and contemplative for me, it’s always restless and anxious and isolating. also my roommates never experience this and can’t believe how often it happens to me and don’t believe me when I say there’s nothing I can really do about it

A few points for trying but this doesn’t really work. Kind of a testament to how hard logic is actually that this was the best we managed for a while

I am not a folklorist so I can’t really evaluate it for its utility to the field but I’ve had a lot of fun just scrolling through it and reading entries like “H105.1.1. Dragon-tongue proof” and tables like “Tales of the Stupid Ogre (Giant, Devil) 1000 - 1169”. Move over, tv tropes
