Its inclusion in the $6 (formerly $5) Meal Deal and place at the lower tier of items offered through reward points on the McDonald's app make the McDouble a reliable and respectable choice in any McDonald's order. The McDouble also offers almost everything a Big Mac (the paragon of the McDonald's burger bunch) does, save for lettuce and sauce and a filler piece of bread (all of which are prone to escape the burger at any given chance). A McDouble is a humble alternative for 30% of the cost. Lettuce is free at McDonald's, and the McDouble will welcome it. The McDouble welcomes all.
