SolemnQuiet self-doubt creeps in when someone finishes a book in a weekend and I’m still on chapter three not from lack of interest but because each page demands more. Socially, people assume I’m not paying attention or speak more slowly as if pace could fix a wiring difference that has nothing to do with hearing.
