I've got this shit in a sous vide bath and I bought that sous vide from K-Mart 3-4 years ago but never used it because I couldn't find any vacuum seal bags that fit specifically in my K-Mart Vacuum Sealer that I bought 3-4 years ago. I also didn't really go far out of my way to find any vacuum seal bags because during that time I distanced myself from the rapidly growing sous vide community that just seemed embarassing to be a part of. The tip of the spear of this community's invasion into the mainstream was this guy called "Sous Vide Everything" and it's like, isn't that kinda antithetical to buying this weird fucking K Mart machine? Like it's a specialty cooker, I'm not going to 'sous vide everything' like this fucking cunt expects me to. And he gave off proper predator vibes or something strange. The way he spoke I think it was. Someone at work mentioned him when I said I had a sous vide and I had to pretend like I had never heard of him and it sort of felt like a test to see if I did know him and, if I did know him, I would probably have been shipped off to some labour camp and who would blame the powers that be to take me - a member of the sous vide community - out of the game for good? like 5 hours later: I made tacos de lengua and it was alright. It's not the greatest.
