a part of me really enjoys being sick and the specific kind of physical shittiness i associate with it. fatigue & fever is miserable but it’s a sensation nonetheless; those are fewer and farther between as i get older. so, like most of the mid-grade torments, i look forward to it.

Embarrassed to approach this one honestly, but I have had several experiences with Derrida where I feel like I’m reading the only thing conceived by God or man that has ever made a lick of sense to me

i look at and draw this

like most of the body, it’s cool but extraordinarily unpleasant to think about. last night i was wriggling my tongue against the inside of my lips and picturing it as a wet rat trying to escape from a garbage bag.

i often deeply resent it for being the only thing i know how to do
