criminally underrated. yes, it can be disturbing to the uninitiated, but with the right technique it becomes very useful. just walk out. close your eyes and visualize (imagine) yourself standing up, getting out of bed and walking out of your room. imagine feeling the weight of the door pushing open. as you move farther away from your sleeping body, you will move out of the state of sleep paralysis and into a lucid dream.

despite their potential to disturb they remain a fascinating and mysterious feature of consciousness that i always look forward to
