Concepts I Like

In order of how much I like the concept.
- Haunted house
1tobyotter's latest · 2026-11-06★★★★★Really beautiful and meaningful to the way we understand ourselves, our relationship to the world, and how we understand the places around us. Basically haunted houses are like seeing all your own history and all the history of other people compressed into a single location (ghosts from the past lingering long after they should) and then like- what would that be like? Would that be scary? Would you stay? I have been to fake ones but I want to go to a real one
- Unreliable narrator
2tobyotter's latest · 2026-11-06★★★★I think even though unreliable narrators are basically just liars you can trust works with unreliable narrators to get at something more fundamental about psychology and experience (or something).
- Spiral
3tobyotter's latest · 2026-11-06★★★★A subspecies of curve (itself a subspecies of line) which appears everywhere and is fun to look at
- USB-C
4tobyotter's latest · 2026-11-06★★★★By FAR the best cable format, good for everything. However I'd like if there was a standardised system of symbols for telling you the speed and data format and etc. Still very good though!!
