- Countertransference
snav's latest · 2026-11-04★★★★the greatest scientific instrument for vibe-measurement ever created. requires a license.
- Jouissancesnav's latest · 2026-11-04★★★★
useless waste of time. also the purpose of this website. and yet
- Analytic philosophysnav's latest · 2026-11-04★★
less fun than other philosophy. can't think of any applications except publishing revenue and tenure.
- Truthsnav's latest · 2026-11-04★★★★
"illusions which we have forgotten are illusions... metaphors that have become worn out and have been drained of sensuous force, coins which have lost their embossing and are now considered as metal and no longer as coins" overrated as knowing, essential anyway
- Agency (philosophy)
snav's latest · 2026-11-04★★★★for most people, better in theory than in practice, because agency demands responsibility demands work, which is why we'd often rather give it up
- Duty
snav's latest · 2026-11-04★★★★sometimes a pain in the ass. important to discharge and also paradoxically freeing even though culturally we think poorly of them.
- Freedom
snav's latest · 2026-11-04★★★★you have various forms of it already, always. we talk it up too much so we don't have to use it. better than the alternatives.
- Music
snav's latest · 2026-11-04★★★★★"Of all the arts, it is perhaps the least connected to reality. I would even say that, if it is connected at all, the connection is purely mechanical, without ideas, through empty sound... without associations... And yet music miraculously penetrates into the very depths of the soul! What is it within us that responds to harmonized noise? What transforms it, for us, into a source of immense joy... that unites us and shakes us to our core? What is its purpose? And, above all, for whom?"
- Qualia
snav's latest · 2026-11-04★★im genuinely uncertain what this is supposed to be
