The Midnight Gospel

a bit of a sister review to my kaiba one as i'd used to watch them both for similar reasons. existentialism in a world that seems impossibly vast and tragic and complicated; you are your memories, so what are you if you have none - i'm remembering now that sonny boy was also being watched at this time though it is much more dense than either of these. i delight in the podcast style of it and Ward's art direction goes above and beyond with his trademark simplicity and measured and considerate randomness. not rated any higher as i definitely *watch it* as if it were a podcast. not a knock, just not my preferred viewing experience
