Gustavo Cerati

genuinely the goat. one of the most important and influential latin american musicians of all time. he crafts an approachable and masterful blend of rock electronic and latin. he also sampled a ton of crazy stuff sometimes but it's always so well balanced. he's like all of my favorite indie bands rolled into one guy, and somehow better. he would do numbers in the US if 1 he was still alive and 2 if he sang in english (which is a whole different thing that we don't have time to get into). if you're latin and you don't know who this is, i bet you recognize his first band, LITERALLY SODA STEREO. you guys on this site would love him, listen to "bocanada"
