Acherontia atropos

In my honest opinion, this insect is one of the most magnificent things nature, and by extension god himself, has ever created. I feel as if its presence on this earth could bring every human closer together. I myself will never understand how a single soul could fear such a beautiful creature. From the colors of it's wings, to the marking on it's thorax, to the prominent squeak that it's proboscis produces. This creature will forever dazzle me, and I, in my humble opinion, think it should dazzle you too.
