Scarlet fever

got this as a kid, stopped breathing twice, in my sleep.

had this as a child. i remember drinking water felt disgusting, and the red rashes of course. now when i look back on it i just feel cool and melancholic like a young girl in the olden days. i'm sorry that's probably insensitive. i'm sorry beth march. but we are so connected...

I had this at one point… they thought it was strep throat but it got worse… unreal bad experience. I was hallucinating geometric objects that frightened me. But I had a referral in my pocket that I didn’t want to show my parents (if you got 3 you got ISS) for god knows what misbehavior; normally you had to get them signed and bring them back the next day, but because the scarlet fever made me so sick, I peed my pants, destroying the referral, and was out of school for like 2 weeks, and by the time I returned, all was forgiven. So it gets an extra half star.
